- Exam Name: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)
- Conducting Body: National Testing Agency (NTA)
- Mode of Exam: Pen-and-paper mode (OMR sheet)
- Total Duration: 3 hours 20 minutes (200 minutes)
- Total Questions: 180 questions (compulsory)
- Physics: 45 questions
- Chemistry: 45 questions
- Biology: 90 questions (45 from Botany, 45 from Zoology)
- No optional questions (Section B was removed in 2025)
- Marking Scheme:
- +4 marks for each correct answer
- -1 mark for each incorrect answer
- No marks for unanswered questions
- Languages: 13 languages (English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, Urdu)
- No Section B: All 180 questions are compulsory.
